OnlineJobs.ph: the platform I keep coming back to
OnlineJobs.ph gets genuine prominence because I have used it for years with excellent results. It is especially useful when you want to hire Filipino remote talent directly and are willing to run the search yourself.
As of August 2026, its paid employer plans are advertised at $69/month for Pro and $99/month for Premium, with no salary markup and the ability to cancel when recruiting is finished. If you use an affiliate link on this site, the affiliate relationship will be disclosed clearly.
Upwork: useful, but not the whole story
Upwork is one of several sourcing channels I have used. It is also where a large part of the documented hiring history lives, which makes it useful proof for the numbers published on this site.
For some roles, the platform works very well. For others, especially when I want a long-term Philippines-based contractor, I may start elsewhere.
LinkedIn and direct referrals
LinkedIn can be useful when a role is senior, specialized, or easier to find through direct outreach. Direct referrals are also valuable when the role requires a level of trust or niche experience that is hard to capture in a public job post.
Skills testing and practical work samples
No testing platform replaces judgment. Depending on the role, OutsourcedTalent may use standardized assessment platforms such as TestDome or TestGorilla, plus practical work samples designed around the actual job.
The point is not to boast about having access to a large test library. The value is choosing the right test, using it at the right point in the process, and interpreting it alongside communication, experience, work samples, and interviews.
